Snakebitten 100% silk twill scarf (square)
100% silk twill scarf with a vivid illustration of a hand, just bitten and still holding a snake that encircles a dagger. Decorative pots with flowers adorn the corners of the scarf and a subtle floral tessellation adds another layer to the design. I am tattooer by trade and this design is part of an ongoing experiment using sketches for tattoo ideas that seemed to be more suited to a larger format and medium. Designing for textiles lets me explore color pallets and styles that won't work well in tattooing but still use my expertise in designing things that adorn the body.
